It has been a few months since my post, “The Joy of Home Gardening’ with my small seedings now planted out in the garden and able to be harvested.

After a quick rinse, they are now in my drying rack and, once dried, will be used for a number of things.

Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Apple Mint, and Thyme are headed for my herbal tea stash, and while I’ve used Calendula in my herbal tea blends, one of my favourite uses for it is in balms. In fact, I’m currently infusing Calendula in a jar of Jojoba Oil in preparation for a fresh batch of Calendula Oil balm. (My daughter and grandson love my Calendula Oil Balm, so I’ll soon need to restock my supply.
