LOOK AGAIN. BE CURIOUS. ASK.

Our Philosophy

Restore Rophe is a Christ-centred health and wellness initiative encouraging the wise stewardship of the health and wellbeing God has entrusted to us, so that we are better able to live faithfully in what He has called us to.

1. An Invitation to Look Again

SOMETIMES THE THINGS WE OVERLOOK ARE WORTHY OF ANOTHER LOOK.

At Restore Rophe, we believe there is much to marvel at in the extraordinary design of the human body and the world God has created around us.

Sometimes, what has become familiar can easily be overlooked.

A plant growing in the garden. A cup of herbal tea. Nourishing food. Sunlight. Movement. Rest. The remarkable ways the human body continually responds, adapts, regulates, repairs and restores.

Restore Rophe is an invitation to look again, be curious, and ask.

To ask questions. To learn. To investigate. To discover more about the extraordinary bodies God has entrusted to us and the resources He has placed within His Creation.

Because our interest in health and wellbeing isn't simply about pursuing health for its own sake.

When we wisely steward the health and wellbeing God has entrusted to us, we are better able to live faithfully in what He has called us to.

2. God as Healer & Restorer

OUR ULTIMATE HEALER AND RESTORER.

The name Restore Rophe reflects the foundation beneath everything we do.

God is our Healer and Restorer.

Plants, herbs, food, Homeopathy and other approaches may support our health and wellbeing. Practitioners can educate, guide and walk alongside us as we seek to steward our health wisely.

But our hope is not ultimately placed in a practitioner, a product or a particular approach. We look beyond creation to its Creator.

3. Wonderfully Made

THE HUMAN BODY IS EXTRAORDINARY

Every moment, countless processes are working together, communicating, regulating, responding, adapting and repairing in ways we may rarely stop to consider.

And the more we learn, the more there is to discover.

At Restore Rophe, we believe the bodies God has entrusted to us are worthy of our attention and care.

Rather than viewing health only through individual symptoms, we are interested in the whole person and the many ways our bodies, minds, experiences, lifestyles and environments interact.

Understanding more about our bodies can help us become wiser and more thoughtful stewards of them

4. Rediscover Creation

THERE IS MUCH WITHIN GOD'S CREATION THAT IS WORTHY OF ANOTHER LOOK.

Plants and herbs. Nourishing foods. Sunlight. Water. The natural world around us and the remarkable substances and properties found within it.

For generations, people have looked to creation for nourishment and for ways to support health and wellbeing. Today, we can continue to explore traditional knowledge alongside contemporary research, asking what we can learn and what may be appropriate for us.

At Restore Rophe, we are particularly curious about the healing within His Creation, not because everything natural is automatically safe, beneficial or appropriate, but because we believe creation is worthy of thoughtful investigation.

We can learn about what God has made. We can investigate its properties and uses. We can consider the evidence, ask questions and exercise discernment.

And as we discover more about the extraordinary complexity within His

Creation, we are continually given another reason to marvel at its Creator.

5. Look Again. Be Curious. Ask.

AN INVITATION TO INVESTIGATE THOUGHTFULLY AND DISCERN WISELY

We believe you should be able to ask questions about your own health.

To seek information. To investigate different perspectives. To understand your options. To continue asking when something doesn't make sense. And to thoughtfully consider what may be appropriate for you.

Expertise can be valuable, but it doesn't require us to surrender our curiosity or our responsibility for learning about our own bodies.

Restore Rophe doesn't exist to tell you what you must think. Instead, we hope to encourage thoughtful investigation and discernment.

LOOK AGAIN.
Are there things we have accepted, avoided or simply never questioned that may be worthy of another look?

BE CURIOUS.
What might better support our health and wellbeing? What does the evidence show? What might we learn by considering the whole person? What is known, what is still being discovered, and where do questions remain?

ASK.
Is this wise? Is it safe? Is it appropriate for me? What are the potential benefits and limitations? And, as followers of Christ, is this an approach that honours Him as we seek to wisely steward our health and wellbeing?

We don't need to automatically accept everything we're told. Nor do we need to automatically reject it.

We can look again. We can be curious. We can ask.

Because being informed helps us participate more meaningfully in decisions concerning our own health and wellbeing.

6. Steward What God Has Entrusted to Us

CARING WISELY AND FAITHFULLY FOR OUR HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Our health and wellbeing are part of what God has entrusted to us.

We cannot control every aspect of our health, nor can we guarantee particular outcomes. But we can learn.

We can make thoughtful choices. We can seek appropriate support. We can become more aware of what our bodies may need. And we can care for them with greater understanding, wisdom, and intention.

When we wisely steward the health and wellbeing God has entrusted to us, we are better able to live faithfully in what He has called us to.

Our health can affect our capacity to move, think, work, create, care for others, serve, learn and participate in the lives and responsibilities God has given us.

This is why health stewardship matters.

It isn't about achieving perfection or controlling every outcome. It is about learning to care wisely and faithfully for the extraordinary bodies God has entrusted to us, within whatever circumstances we may find ourselves.

That is the journey Restore Rophe is continuing to take, too.

Look Again. Be Curious. Ask.
